Midcoast Leadership Academy Information Session at the Hutchinson Center, July 12
The University of Maine Hutchinson Center and Midcoast Leadership Academy (MLA) will host an evening of alumni networking and an informational session for prospective program participants from 5:30 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 12, on the patio of the Hutchinson Center.
Now entering its 7th program year this fall, over 100 community leaders have graduated from this 9-month, adult, experiential learning experience. The program is designed to encourage conversations and a deeper understanding of issues affecting our region and to assist participants in further developing their own leadership skills.
Midcoast Leadership Academy was formed in 2006 to positively impact the economic and cultural quality of life in Midcoast Maine by enhancing the professional and personal development of existing and emerging community leaders in Midcoast Maine. The program goal is to build a strong and committed network of regional leaders throughout Knox and Waldo counties.
This year the Hutchinson Center and Midcoast Leadership Academy will once again partner to bring a well-rounded, diverse program to the area. Graduates of the program will receive a Certificate from the University of Maine Hutchinson Center.
