The University of Maine Hutchinson Center offers academic support for all learners interested in beginning or returning to school to complete their college degree, from early college to senior college. Undergraduate classes are live, videoconference and online. In addition, the Hutchinson Center supports UMaine graduate level programs such as Master’s of Social Work (MSW) and Master‘s of Education (M. Ed.) in Literacy and Educational Leadership. Registration for Summer University is open and classes start May 13. Need-based scholarships are available for qualified Hutchinson Center students.
The University of Maine Early College Program encourages eligible high school students to pursue and earn University credit by attending live courses at the Hutchinson Center, the Orono campus, and online. Courses are offered tuition-free in a range of disciplines including mathematics, sciences, the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
