
UMaine Hutchinson Center Announces Fall 2021 Class Registration
Fall registration is open through the University of Maine Hutchinson Center for both undergraduate and graduate level courses, certificates and degree programs. Limited need-based scholarships are available.
The Hutchinson Center offers five fully online UMaine undergraduate bachelor degree programs: Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, Surveying Engineering Technology and University Studies. Additionally, a number of in-person courses will be held at the UMaine Hutchinson Center in Belfast this fall including business writing, chemistry, composition, history and psychology.
New for fall 2021, the Hutchinson Center will be a midcoast hub to University of Maine at Machias online associate degree and certificate programs. Programs include Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies (AA) with a concentration in allied health, Associate of Science (AS) in business and entrepreneurial studies or conservation law and outdoor management and certificates in entrepreneurship, GIS, human resources, and mental health and rehabilitation technician certification. An info session will be held at the Hutchinson Center on Wed., Aug. 4 from 4 to 6 p.m. Prospective students are welcome to attend and learn more about the Hutchinson Center academic programs. Staff will be on hand to help students register for classes, as well as advisors to help determine course loads and schedules.

The Hutchinson Center supports students no matter where they are in their educational journey. From Early College students who are still in high school to traditional first-year students and non-traditional students returning to school after a long hiatus or adult learners, the Hutchinson Center is ready and equipped to help individuals determine their needs and meet their academic goals.
A limited number of need-based scholarships are available to qualified Hutchinson Center students. The deadline for scholarship applications is Aug. 16, 2021. More information about scholarships is online.
