
UMaine Hutchinson Center Announces Winter Session/Spring 2022 Class Registration
Winter Session and Spring 2022 registration is open through the University of Maine Hutchinson Center for both undergraduate and graduate-level courses, certificates and degree programs. Limited need-based scholarships are available.
The Hutchinson Center offers five fully online UMaine undergraduate bachelor degree programs: Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, Surveying Engineering Technology and University Studies. Additionally, a number of in-person or hyflex courses will be available via the UMaine Hutchinson Center in Belfast this spring, including Art Fundamentals, Chemistry, Composition, Creative Writing, Graphic Novel and Psychology. New as of fall 2021, the Hutchinson Center became a midcoast hub to University of Maine at Machias online associate degree and certificate programs. Programs include Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies (AA) with a concentration in allied health, Associate of Science (AS) in business and entrepreneurial studies or conservation law and outdoor management and certificates in entrepreneurship, GIS, human resources, and mental health and rehabilitation technician certification. The Hutchinson Center supports students no matter where they are in their educational journey. From Early College students who are still in high school to traditional first-year students and non-traditional students returning to school after a long hiatus or adult learners, the Hutchinson Center is ready and equipped to help individuals determine their needs and meet their academic goals.
A limited number of need-based scholarships are available to qualified Hutchinson Center students. The deadline for scholarship applications is Dec. 15, 2021. More information about scholarships is online.
