We are seeking proposals for professional development programs in the following areas:

- Business/Entrepreneurship
- Customer Service
- Early Childhood Education/Childcare
- Ethics
- Human Resources
- Trauma-informed Management/Workplaces
- Recruiting, Cultivating & Sustaining a Diverse Workplace
- Industry-specific trainings
- Insurance
- Real Estate

- Project Management
- Technology/Computers/Coding
Though we are seeking proposals addressing the areas listed above we are happy to consider other topics.
Whether offered online or in-person, our programs tend to be instructor-led, interactive and synchronous (not pre-recorded or self-paced).
Priority for 2022 programs will be given to proposals received before December 10, 2021.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us at um.fhc.pd@maine.edu or 207.338.8002.
Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC), immigrants, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ and veterans are strongly encouraged to submit proposals. Instructors do not need to be residents of Maine nor based in Maine in order to be considered.
What you can expect from us if your proposal is accepted:
Our staff will:
