Event Spaces & Technology

The Hutchinson Center houses a wide variety of event spaces including a 105-seat auditorium, a brightly lit atrium and a modern 4000 square foot conference center, which is our largest and most versatile space. In addition, the Center has a variety of classroom, seminar and meeting rooms, all equipped with state of the art audio-visual and videoconferencing equipment.

Conference & Event Space

Atrium

All visitors to the Hutchinson Center are welcomed through our bright and airy atrium. This is a perfect space for gala events, job fairs, luncheons and receptions.  The atrium seats up to 60 while our adjoining porch offers outdoor seating for an additional 40 people.  For receptions, the atrium accommodates 100 plus people.

Conference Center

Located in the Walsh Wing, the Conference Center is our largest and most versatile space, accommodating a variety of configurations including theater-style seating for 150 people. Seating using round tables accommodates 136 comfortably. One, two or three separate rooms may be created, with three projectors and screens that can be used independently or simultaneously.

Auditorium

With fixed seating for 105 and space for an additional 10 chairs, this room is perfect for large groups. The auditorium has a drop-down screen, projection, and DVD and Blueray capability.

Classrooms

Rooms 101, 102, 127 & 129 are our most versatile classrooms at 800 square feet or larger. Each of these classrooms is fully equipped with a computerized podium that offers Microsoft Office and internet access. A variety of room setups are available.

New Media Room

Large Conference table seating 18. Computer, projector, and whiteboards. Auxiliary jacks are available to connect your laptop (HDMI) to the presentation system.

Technology

The Hutchinson Center offers a wide variety of technology to accommodate your conference, meeting or special event. Our IT Coordinator, Sam Overlock, is happy to assist you with any technological needs for your event.

Technology services include:

  • Video conferencing tools
  • Wired and wireless high-speed internet access
  • Computers and LCD projectors and screens in each room
  • CD, DVD and Blu-ray systems
  • Wireless and wired microphones
  • IT staff available for set-up and support
