The final opera in this series, Donizetti’s hilarious romp L’elisir d’amore (The Elixir of Love) tops of this tour of classic comic operatic love stories. The superb acting and wonderful singing of Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazon in this live recording of a Vienna Staatsoper production is a very fitting finale!
In collaboration with the Senior College of Belfast, the University of Maine Hutchinson Center presents this three-part instructional Opera Series, The Comedy of Love, led by music educator Richard Brown.
Admission is $10 per class and payable at the door.
