Professional Development Course Proposals

  • Please enter a suggested name for the course. We reserve the right to revise the name as necessary but are very open to your recommendations.
  • If you already have experience teaching this program online or in a remote format, please let us know. If you have taught it online or remotely before, what platforms/tools have you used?
  • Have you developed a syllabus? Please attach your syllabus here, even in draft form.
  • Please describe your course using conversational English. Include any keywords you think will help people to discover the course. 3 paragraphs are typically what we're looking for. Your language doesn't need to be perfect--we'll help to hone it.
  • This short blurb will be used to promote your course. We'll help to develop it. Think short, punchy, enthusiastic. What are the main takeaways you hope participants will come away with? What will make taking the course worthwhile?
  • Please jot down any keywords that people might search for in order to find your course online.
  • Who do you see as the potential audience for this course? Who would benefit from participating in it? We encourage you to be specific and think outside the box.
  • Do you have ideas for who we can market this course to/how we can market it? Please feel free to share. Perhaps you know of industry-specific lists, community calendars, journalists who might be interested, etc. Any and all ideas that will help with the success of the course are welcome.
  • Do you have a recommendation or suggestion for the image we use to market the course? Feel free to include it here.
