(Postponed) 2020 Best Art Show Ever Opening Reception
The University of Maine Hutchinson Center announces the opening of the ‘2020 Best Art Show Ever’ featuring student artwork from three area schools. The exhibit will open March 9 and be on display at the Hutchinson Center’s H. Allen and Sally Fernald Art Gallery through May 29. The opening reception is from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21. Admission to both the reception and the exhibit is free and open to the public. The show will be on view during the Hutchinson Center’s regular hours, 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Students from three area schools will be participating in the show: Kermit Nickerson School, Captain Albert Stevens School, and Troy Howard Middle School. This exhibit is a celebration of youth artists who dare to take risks and express the joy of creation without demanding perfection.
